Post 460 Photo Gallery

More to Come Soon!

Our Post was named in memory of a very heroic young Naval Aviator, Albert J. Hickman.  He courageously sacrificed his own life so that many others would be saved.  (See Hickman Bio

These pictures were graciously provided by Albert's Sister and Brother-in-Law, Shirley and Don Fender.  Don pointed out that Albert's proper last name was spelled Hickmon, however when he joined the Navy there was a typo and Albert decided it was to much trouble to worry about.  He was buried beside his parents in Sioux City, Ia. and even his grave marker says Hickman.

We would like to thank Shirley and Don Fender and the entire Hickmon Family for providing these pictures and history.  Thank You.
